Shipping Policy

SHIPPING

All fine art prints, canvas prints and originals of any size are shipped through various couriers depending on size and location, such as Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, etc. Originals require a signature to be released to the buyer. Prints will not require a signature. Once dispatched, you will be notified. Your tracking information (most shipments include this) will be provided to you once available.


PLEASE NOTE: The studio is not responsible for any delays in shipping due to reasons such as, but not limited to: weather, high volume shipments due to holidays, customs, failed delivery attempts, postal strikes, covid, etc.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We currently do not offer automatic international shipping through our website. However, if you reside outside of Canada and are interested in a product we offer, please reach out to us through our 'interact' page to inquire about a quote for shipping.

SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES (Tariffs Notice)

Due to significant tariff increases on goods entering the United States, the cost of cross-border shipping has become extremely difficult for small businesses to absorb. These added fees make it nearly impossible to offer fair and reasonable shipping rates without drastically raising prices. Because of this, shipping to the United States is no longer available for automatic purchase on the website.
 

If you are a U.S. customer and would like to inquire about a custom shipping quote, please reach out through the contact form. We're happy to provide an estimate and discuss available options on a case-by-case basis.

DUTIES AND TAXES

The studio is not liable for additional import fees on any product(s) purchased. This includes all retail pieces. This will also include any future merchandise added to the site. It will always be the responsibility of the buyer to pay any duties, value added tax or any other possible charges to receive your shipment.

 

If these additional amounts are refused by you, the buyer, your delivery will be returned to our studio. When returned, we will refund you the cost of your purchase MINUS the costs of shipping to and from your country/place of residence. Please keep in mind, the studio pays a generous amount to ship originals. When purchasing any product off of our website, it is understood by you that import duties and taxes may apply, and if refused, you will not receive the item you have purchased and this shipping amount will be deducted from your refund.
 

Items are declared at purchase value for exporting.

Should your item be damaged upon transport, please contact us within 7 days of arrival and provide photos of the damage so we can make the claim for you.

UNCOLLECTED SHIPMENTS

We are unable to ship your artwork for free again if your parcel/package was uncollected from your local post office for any reason. If this occurs, we will refund you the difference between retail and shipping. If you would still like your package, please contact us and we will rearrange a reshipment. 

Return & Exchange Policy

Below are our policies on returns for fine art prints, canvas prints, and originals. We do everything we can to make sure the colours you see online are as accurate to the original as possible. However, colour calibrations may differ due to computer monitors and lighting conditions. Returns will not be accepted due to "off colour" as computer monitors and phone screens can alter what you see online vs what is printed/painted in person. Exchanges are not accepted at this time.

FINE ART PRINTS

Due to the delicate nature of fine art prints, we do not accept returns. Each print is carefully crafted and packaged, and care instructions are included with every shipment to help you preserve its quality. We do not offer refunds for damage resulting from improper handling or failure to follow the care guidelines.

CANVAS PRINTS

Each canvas print is made to order with care through a trusted third party manufacturer. If your piece arrives damaged or with a defect, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund. A claim must be submitted so the issue can be reviewed.


Please note that refunds or replacements are only offered for items that arrive in unsatisfactory condition. We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.

ORIGINAL ART

All original purchases are final. 
 

We take great care in packaging your order to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Every piece is carefully wrapped with protective materials, and the artist pays a generous amount out of pocket to ensure safe and reliable shipping. Each order is handled with care, intention, and respect.
 

However, in the rare event that your painting is damaged during shipment, please follow the steps below so we can assist you with a resolution.
 

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM FOR ALL ORDERS

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery. The sooner the better.
    We need to be notified within 7 days of delivery to process a damage claim.

  2. Provide your order number. This helps us locate your purchase.

  3. Send clear photos of the following:

    • The damaged item

    • The item inside the packaging, showing how it was packed

    • All packing materials used (bubble wrap, paper, foam, etc.)

    • The shipping box, especially any dents, tears, or impact marks

    • The shipping label, clearly visible and readable

  4. Keep all original packaging and materials until the claim is resolved. These may be needed for insurance or carrier inspection purposes.
     

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All items must be inspected upon delivery.

  • Claims made after 7 days may not be eligible.

  • Damage resulting from mishandling after delivery is not covered.

  • Your cooperation may be required if we need to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
